It’s been excitement plus here in Sydney, lots of people have been dropping by the suite to see us and the upcoming collection. I wake up with a smile on my face every morning. I love being surrounded by so much colour and so many pretty things not to mention the buffet breakfast!!

This week will launch the new and improved Burnett Lane. This cute little lane way which is steeped in history has received 2.75 million dollar facelift and is set to reemerge as a lane that everyone will love – with bars, restaurants book shops and more . What better way to launch this enchanting new space than with a stunning showcase of Brisbane best and brightest fashion talent. Put together by Lindsay Bennett Marketing and styled by Liz Golding it’s sure to be the event of the season. Of course Foxton Danger will be turning up the heat in this new hotspot come friday as it struts down the runway. Brisbane’s Sunday mail previewed some of the beautiful garments that will be on show.

Valentino

A date with an Emperor – of fashion that is. I gave a talk at the closing of the Valentino exhibition. The room was shielded by beauty. I couldn’t help but feel the life and energy emanate from Valentino’s life time of creations. Each garment standing tall with a distinguished air of grace. It reminded me of the Terracotta Army in Xi’an created by another kind of emperor, none the less the message was the same. Valentino’s garments were like soldiers of his soul clearly created to stand the test of time. Looking closely you could see that some bore battle scares from there runway triumphs or silver screen adventures where others were as pristine as the day they were sewn. Each one being different than the other with it’s own story to tell or secrets to keep?
